If there is one thing that Asha Greyjoy has learned over the years, it is patience. So when the wars have been waged and the battles fought, she takes Black Wind and sails it across the ocean. Asha may be absent from home but tales of her adventures and many victories at sea reach within the castle walls of Pyke and far beyond. Asha becomes a legend in her own right, the conqueror of salt and waves, they say she is as unruly as the sea she loves so much. When they speak of her, her name is uttered in hushed tones as if not spoken carefully enough it could conjure the fury herself. There are stories of how the ocean has dragged her to its pits countless times before and that even the Drowned God himself fears her wrath. So Asha bides her time and waits for the opportune moment before setting foot on Iron shores once more. And when she does, the people praise Asha’s name as the Ironborn Queen with such conviction none could ever oppose her claim to the throne that awaits her in Pyke.
